Soundboard Concert Series: Rhodes & Battles

Join us on the lawn for a free show Sunday, October 8th featuring Rhodes & Battles on the outdoor stage during our Fall Market!

Rhodes and Battles is a three-piece band of lifelong musicians: Karen Rhodes, Amy Battles, and Jamie Merideth. These talented musicians take their folk/roots sound to the next level with their beautiful three-part harmonies and the ability to interchange instruments throughout their shows.

Their paths crossed in 2018 due to each of their strong ties to the Springfield, Illinois music community, and they have been playing local shows and festivals in the Central Illinois region ever since. With an impressive repertoire of original songs (as well as some unique covers), they captivate their audience with their ability to write powerful lyrics that relate to the human story; the roads we all have traveled and the battles we all have faced.
