CITY OF BLOOMINGTON PARKS & RECREATION JOB FAIR
SET FOR FEBRUARY 25th AT THE GROSSINGER MOTORS ARENA
BLOOMINGTON, IL – The Bloomington Parks & Recreation Department in partnership with the City of Bloomington’s Arts & Entertainment department are set to host a Job Fair on Wednesday, February 25, from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM at the Grossinger Motors Arena at 101 South Madison Street Bloomington, IL. The event will take place on the north concourse of the Arena and guests will enter from the Front St. doors.
Applicants aged 15 and above will have the opportunity to meet program directors and discuss job responsibilities for multiple Parks & Recreation positions.
“The Job Fair is an excellent chance for anyone curious about the opportunities available within the City of Bloomington,” said Thom Rakestraw, Marketing Manager for the City of Bloomington’s Parks & Recreation Department. “We’re excited to offer a fun and welcoming experience—complete with free snacks and drinks—while program managers and staff will be on hand to answer questions about seasonal positions and job responsibilities.”
Positions available include lifeguards, swim instructors, golf course, seasonal laborers, youth sports instructors, cashiers, van drivers, guest services, day camp counselors and many more! Positions within the Arts & Entertainment department include concession attendant, bartender, arena worker, and custodian.
