Q&A:
When should I arrive? We encourage you to arrive before Noon on 11/6/23, Mercury needs to leave promptly at 2PM and getting in line after noon may not be available if the line is too long. Mercury will be here officially from 10AM – 2PM but we cannot guarantee you will meet Mercury if you arrive after noon.

Where will this event be located? As of late July, this event will be located at Bobzbay Books at 419 N Main Street Downtown Bloomington, IL. If we feel we’ll be reaching capacity we’ll reassess and move the signing to a nearby larger location.

Where should I park? There are a few parking options in Downtown Bloomington! There is 90 minute on-street parking, a parking deck 2 blocks away on Market Street (lower level is free for 4 hours), and we are right near many convenient Connect Transit bus stops!

Can I pick up the book before the event? Of course! Release day is 8/22/23 and you may pick up your book on or after release day and bring it back for the book signing.

I already purchased a copy from somewhere else but still would like to attend the signing! We are using book purchases as tickets to the event so we know how many people to expect during the signing. If you have already purchased a copy and would like to attend the event, please consider purchasing a copy from Bobzbay Books and we will donate it to the West Bloomington Revitalization Project Tool Library on your behalf (just let us know!) https://www.westbloomington.org/tool-library

I can’t make the event but still want a signed copy! If you cannot make the event but still would like a signed copy, we can snail-mail you a signed bookplate (sticker w/ author signature on it). Personally inscribed copies will unfortunately not be available unless you attend the book signing.
