Book Signing with Horror & Speculative Fiction Author Kyle Winkler at Bobzbay Books

We’re so excited to welcome horror and speculative fiction author Kyle Winkler to the shop for a book signing and meet & greet! Join us on Saturday, June 21st from 10:00am-12:00pm to meet the author, bring home a new signed book (or two!), and celebrate the release of his latest book, ‘Enter the Peerless’ — out 6/10/25!

Winkler’s books are perfect for fans of cosmic horror and dark speculative fiction that straddles the line between horror and sci-fi/fantasy. His book ‘Grasshands’ is a staff favorite (find it on Liz’s shelf!) and we’re especially excited to celebrate the release of ‘Enter the Peerless’, a metaphysical detective novel with a touch of surrealism…think a Midwestern True Detective crossed with Philip K. Dick!

‘Enter the Peerless’ (as well as select books from Winkler’s backlist) will be available for purchase at the event (while supplies last) but pre-orders are highly encouraged!

About the Author:
Kyle Winkler is Associate Prof. of English at Kent State University Tuscarawas and is on the MFA Faculty at Ashland University. He lives in Ohio with his family. He’s the author of the cosmic horror novella The Nothing That Is, the weird story collection OH PAIN, and the novel Boris Says the Words, Tone-Bone (Castaigne), and Enter the Peerless (From Beyond Press).
