BCAI’s Echo Building: An Envisioning Justice event series
Creative Justice. Community Imagination.
Join us this Spring for Echo Building, a two-part gathering hosted by BCAI Cultural Arts & Humanities and supported by a grant from Illinois Humanities’ Envisioning Justice initiative.
Through music, workshops, art, and sustenance, we’re creating a space where youth, adults, and community partners can build forward together — confronting the impact of incarceration through cultural celebration, immersive learning, and skill-sharing led by justice-impacted facilitators and local educators.
Each event includes:
🎶 DJ Judah spinning throughout
🧠 Skill, health, and knowledge workshops
🎭 Verbatim Theater
🎁 Live prize drawings
🍽️ Catered brunch by Coffeehound, A-Z Catering, and Toog’s Lemonade
