Sugar Creek Arts Festival
Sugar Creek Arts Festival is nationally recognized for its excellence and is a juried event that showcases one-hundred fine arts and fine crafts from local, regional, and national artists as well as live music on two stages. Professional artists external to the MCAC serve as paid jurors. This outdoor festival is hosted in the beautiful streets of Uptown Normal. There is ample parking for both artists and patrons nearby.
The festival was first held in Normal and what started with sixteen artists selling from the trunks of their cars in 1983 has now been ranked as one of the nation’s top 100 arts festivals and draws upwards of 20,000 attendees yearly.
