Event

Open Mic Poetry at Bobzbay Books

Event end time is until performances are over (about 60-90 minutes).

This event is free and all ages are welcome, but please note some sensitive themes may be mentioned.
Masks recommended but not required. If you are sick please don’t attend (we’ll have another event soon!).

Reading of original poetry, favorite poems, short stories, freestyle raps, etc all welcome. Please keep your time under 10 minutes 🙂

**Special Notes:*** We ask that you do not recite poems that degrade or ostracize any particular human (aka no homophobia, racism, bigotry, etc.).

Please do not recite poems that glorify destructive behaviors (illegal drugs, violence, etc.). If you have any questions, just send us a message!

To limit anxiety for some of our poetry readers (and to limit close quarters hanging out), we will have a small seating area (8 or so chairs), you are welcome to mill about the shop while listening to the poetry.
