Normal LIVE presents Black Velvet @ Uptown Circle
When a New York born sound designer and Jeff Beck tribute artist paired up with a local singer with untapped potential, they never imagined that their one time collaboration as buskers for a local street festival would ignite the spark of Central Illinois’ premiere mini cover band: Black Velvet.
You will be singing and chair wiggling along with this family friendly, electrifying, husband and wife duo as they turn familar pop/rock hits into something new. With fresh takes on artists such as The Police, P!nk, Fitz and the Tantrums, The Beatles, Aerosmith and more, there’s literally something for everyone to enjoy.
They’ve quickly become a crowd favorite wherever they go, and are definitely one group you don’t want to miss.
