Local author Vivian Doctora will be at the shop from 10AM – 12PM on Saturday, May 27th to sign copies of her new children’s book “Life As Bad”! This event will take place towards the back of the shop in the children’s book room.

About the book: Life As Bao is a book about a story of Bao, who recently moved from Noodletown to Foodville, and immediately felt out of place because he looks and talks different. He was being bullied and picked on by others at school just because he was different than others. Due to his kindness, he was able to help his bully and made him realized that we can’t judge someone simply by how they look. Once we are able to take the time to get to know someone, we will discover that they are more than just their appearances. Through the story of Bao and his friends, I hope to share a message to see through other beyond just the way they look and learn to embrace diversity.

Can’t make it to the event? Bobzbay Books has copies in stock or you can purchase the book on Bookshop.org and support both indie bookstores & the author: https://bookshop.org/a/1816/9798386836788
