Knit In at Hanger Art Co.
We are back in person! We will be holding the third Knit In of 2023 at Hangar Art Co. on Saturday, August 5 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. This event is free, and open to any knitter or crocheter to join us! Please bring a lawn chair or folding chair to attend as we will be knitting/crocheting on the patio and lawn.
For the past 10 years (even during the darkest days of the Covid-19 pandemic) knitters and crocheters in our community have continued to make items for those in need. From scarves, to hats, baby blankets, fidget sleeves, and more! While the last 2 years we have created these items in the comfort and safety of our homes, we are coming back together in person to make items to help those in need in our community once again! For the third quarter of 2023, we will be working on making hats and scarves for Back to School this fall.
Free parking will be available at the Front Street Parking Deck (located two blocks south of Hangar Art Co.) or the Market Street Parking Garage (located two blocks north of Hangar Art Co.).
