Heartland Jazz Orchestra is a traditionally instrumented jazz big band, led by Music Director David Hoffman, teacher, composer, and arranger, an accomplished player of jazz trumpet and flugelhorn, and veteran of the Ray Charles Orchestra. Heartland Jazz Orchestra is composed of talented and dedicated musicians, many of whom teach and perform with other musical groups. This concert is made possible with support from the Heartland Jazz Orchestra Foundation, The Farrington Family Foundation, the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation, and the Korean Presbyterian Church of Normal.
Members of HJO are proud to present this concert in gratitude for the generous support of the Korean Presbyterian Church in providing rehearsal space for the band. Donations to the Church for this purpose will be thankfully accepted.
