Full Moon Tree Tour in the Fell Arboretum

Enjoy a tree tour through the Fell Arboretum illuminated by the Hunter’s Full Moon. We’ll talk spooky plant lore, myths, traditions, the origins of Halloween, why we carve jack-o’-lanterns, macabre tree fiction, and true stories of historically mystic trees. Guests are encouraged, but not required, to dress in a costume (that is comfortable for walking outside) and bring a flashlight or a light source.

The tour is free of charge, we just request you sign up for a time using our attached form. The tour will begin at the Fell Gates on Illinois State University’s campus and last approximately 50 minutes. Tours will run from 9-9:50PM, 10-10:50PM, and 11-11:50PM.
