Details on clothing donations and sharing your story here: bit.ly/maydayclotheswap

We are celebrating International Workers Rights and lifting the voices of women and other people of marginalized genders. We’re excited to offer gently used clothing, story telling, raffle baskets, and fun! We aim to raise $10,000 to support and empower local workers through Dreams Are Possible, a women’s training center in Bloomington. All donations in any amount are encouraged but not required. We hope to see you there!

HAVE CLOTHING DONATIONS?
We are accepting gently-used, adult clothing (especially professional), shoes and accessories. They can be dropped off at the Coffeehouse & Deli in Uptown Normal April 1-28 during regular business hours. *Please no children’s clothing.

HAVE A STORY TO SHARE?
We are seeking women and other people of marginalized genders who have stories of strength and struggle in the workplace. We’d love to help you share your story. Someone will reach out before the event to help you prepare.

CAN YOU VOLUNTEER?
We need help with tasks like sorting clothing donations, setting up the Coffeehouse for the event, and cleaning up afterwards. Please consider helping!

All money raised will help Dreams are Possible in ways such as expanding their capacity to serve more people, covering the cost of textbooks and supplies, and supporting the Earn to Learn program that offers a stipend to students for their time spent in class, which makes the program more accessible.
