NOMAD THEATRE COMPANY Presents PAINT NIGHT, by Carey Crim.

Nomad Theatre Company invites audiences to pour a glass, pick up a paintbrush, and settle in for PAINT NIGHT, a sharp, heartfelt comedy by Carey Crim. Produced in collaboration with the McLean County Arts Center this exciting production marks the very first performance ever staged in the Arts Center’s brand-new Annex building, located at 206 E. Mulberry Street in Bloomington, Illinois.

Generously sponsored by Sonya May, PAINT NIGHT is directed by Cristen Monson as part of her MFA in Directing program at Illinois State University.

World Premiere produced by The Public Theatre, Lewiston, ME, Christopher Schario and Janet Mitchko, Co-Artistic Directors

PAINT NIGHT is presented through special arrangement with TRW PLAYS 1180 Avenue of the Americas, Suite 640, New York, NY 10036. www.trwplays.com

Imagine STEEL MAGNOLIAS for the paint-and-sip generation.
Six women gather for what’s supposed to be a carefree girls’ night out. Wine, laughter, and acrylic landscapes. Celebrating a bride-to-be at a local paint-and-sip studio. But as the wine flows freely, so do unfiltered truths about motherhood, marriage, aging, ambition, and identity.
What begins as a carefully curated night of fun quickly smudges into something far more honest, hilarious, and heartbreakingly real.
PAINT NIGHT is a vibrant portrait of female friendship and the powerful support women offer one another when life refuses to stay inside the lines. It asks what happens when we put down our phones, face one another honestly, and dare to paint beyond our comfort zones.
