Humane Society of Central Illinois

The Humane Society of Central Illinois (HSCI) is a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for homeless and abused animals. Our mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals through adoption, education, and community outreach. We provide safe shelter, medical care, and compassion to over 800 animals annually while advocating for responsible pet ownership and strengthening the bond between people and pets. Our work is driven by the belief that every animal deserves a second chance—and every community benefits when we care for its most vulnerable members.
