This year, the BCPA is partnering with B/N Sunrise Rotary to combine our First Friday Concert Series with Bags & Brews for one unforgettable summer night on the BCPA Lawn! Join us Friday, August 7 for bags, brews, food, and live music all evening long. Doors open at 4 PM, the Bags Tournament starts at 5 PM, and How Rude takes the stage from 7–10 PM. Bags Tournament registration is $50 per team, with cash prizes for the top three teams, and all proceeds benefit the Beyond the Books Education Foundation.
How Rude brings all the best ’90s hits—from pop to grunge—in a high-energy show packed with nostalgia, sing-alongs, and crowd-favorite throwbacks. First Friday Concerts, presented by the BCPA and Gibson Area Hospital, take place on the BCPA Lawn from 7–10 PM and feature live music, food trucks, and drinks in a relaxed outdoor setting. Tickets are $5, or free with a receipt from a Downtown Bloomington business, and kids receive free admission to all First Friday Concerts this summer thanks to School of Rock Bloomington. Just bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a summer night of great music!
