Wolfpack Opener is one of the first events of the year for the Belegarth Medieval Combat Society. Belegarth is a full-contact medieval combat sport that uses foam-padded weapons. Participants wear medieval or fantasy-themed clothing. This event will also be the local kick-off to Belegarth’s 25th Anniversary Silver Jubilee Celebration, marking 25 years of this national sport! Last year approximately 400 individuals from around the Midwest attended Wolfpack Opener.
Schedule:
- Doors open at 9:30am *Volunteers and vendors came come as early as 9am*
- Fighting start at 11:00am
- Fighting is done at 3:00pm
- Doors close at 4:00pm
There will be a training area for anyone new to the sport to learn the rules and practice before stepping onto the big field.
Must be 16 years old or older to fight. 16-17 year olds require a signed waiver from a parent/guardian.
