IWU SHIRK CENTER

The Shirk Center is a multi-purpose athletic, recreation and wellness complex located on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University. It contains facilities for basketball, volleyball, track and tennis; with a seating capacity of 2,400 and standing room for another 400 spectators. The Activity Center includes a 200-meter six-lane indoor track with full facilities, 2 batting cages and 4 courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball and badminton. The Fitness Center includes 3 racquetball courts and an exercise room with cardiovascular and exercise equipment, and free weights. The Shirk Center also houses facilities for golf and baseball/softball infield practice.

Major Events Hosted: NCAA Division III Indoor Track National Championships, State Farm Holiday Classic, NCAA Division III Volleyball National Championships, NCAA Division III Mens Basketball Tournament Games, NCAA Division III Womens Basketball National Championships, Midwest Nationals Wrestling Tournament
