Miller Park Zoo Stampede


Miller Park Zoo Stampede: Saturday, March 3, 2018

Registration is underway for the Miller Park Zoological Society’s (MPZS) 21th annual Zoo Stampede.

All participants in this 5k run, 3k walk, and fun run (¼ mile for children 10 and under) will run/walk part of the route through the Zoo. NEW this year – the 5k will be chip timed by It’s Race Time. Special trophies, made in part by the Zoo animals will be awarded to 5k – 1st place overall male and female, as well as 1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female in each age category.

The race route is mostly flat with a few rolling hills. The 5k starts at 10:00 am, followed by the 3k. Participants who register prior to February 23 will receive a long sleeve t-shirt. The Fun Run starts at 9:30 am, and everyone receives a medal. All Zoo Stampede participants are invited to stop back at the Zoo to visit the animals.

Stampede registration can be completed online at www.mpzs.org. Registration received by February 23 for the 5k/3k is $25.00 ($2.00 discount for LRC or MPZS members). Registration received after February 23 is $35. The Fun Run fee is $5.00.
