Lavender and Lemons: A Tour of Kitchens and More

The very popular Lavender and Lemons Kitchen Tour is returning after a year’s hiatus. Sponsored by the Illinois Symphony Orchestra Guild, the kitchen tour will be held on June 12 from 10am to 4pm. All proceeds will benefit the Illinois Symphony Orchestra’s programs for area school children.

The beautiful kitchens on the tour feature a wide variety of styles, sizes, and budgets and are located in both new and historic neighborhoods including Hawthorne Hills, Hawthorne Village, Hedgewood, Evergreen Village, Westminster Village, and a special outdoor kitchen in Bloomington’s South Oakland neighborhood.

Whether you are looking to remodel a kitchen, seeking new ideas for your kitchen. or just enjoy seeing the lovely kitchens on our tour you will surely find great ideas and inspiration in the kitchens on display. We’ll be following the CDC guidelines regarding masks and social distancing so that tour-goers can enjoy viewing the kitchens safely.

Tickets are available at The Garlic Press in Normal and in Bloomington at Casey’s Garden Shop & Florist, Hy-Vee Customer Service Desk, Growing Grounds, AB Hatchery, Wendell Niepagen Greenhouses, and The Olive Bin. Tickets will show tour addresses for this self-guided in-person tour.
