Illinois Chamber Music Festival goes virtual!

Due to COVID-19, the ILCMF will not be offering its traditional program. However, we will be offering free virtual classes thanks to generous donations and grants. You are welcome to attend as many or few classes as you wish.
Register below to attend. The lineup starts with a virtual faculty concert, and a Q & A with the performers will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 19. On Monday, July 20, students will join in warm ups, guided practice, masterclasses, technique sessions and individual lessons. Special sessions include chamber music listening with musicologist Adrian Ponce, a bluegrass fiddling class, and discussions on How to Practice Effectively, Sight-reading and Memorization, How to Learn and Rehearse Chamber Music, and Overcoming Performance Anxiety. The week will conclude with another virtual performance on Saturday, July 25 with a Q & A at 11 a.m.
Classes July 20-24 start at 10 a.m. and end around 3 p.m. A schedule of offerings will be emailed to you and posted on our website by July 13.
There is no deadline to register; however, if you wish to perform in a masterclass or take an individual lesson, you must sign up by Friday, JULY 10.
