The Children’s Discovery Museum Is Open!

After many months of being closed, the Children’s Discovery Museum has re-opened its doors with open arms and is back to inspiring the love of learning through the power of play in person! The Museum’s three stories are filled with amazing hands-on fun that is unlike anything else. The array of exhibits is enough to keep curious children and playful grown-ups busy and happy for hours on end.

Now through June 21st, the Children’s Discovery Museum will be requiring the public to make a 2-hour reservation to play. You can visit the Register to Play page here. After June 21, no reservations will be required and you will be welcome to show up at the Museum and play!

Please note, as an educational facility, masks are required for ALL visitors 2 years and older.

Please read the following information to properly prepare for your visit:

  • All visitors 2 years and older are required to wear a facemask during their visit. Face masks should fully cover an individual’s nose and mouth.
  • Guests will enter through the Museum Store door and exit through the main doors.
  • Please use hand-sanitizer or wash your hands as you enter the Museum and begin your visit.
  • If you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, please contact us at 309-433-3444 to reschedule your visit and open spots for others to play.
