Illinois Made

All over Illinois, artists, makers and creators have been chosen by the Illinois Office of Tourism as Illinois Made destinations: places that help create and flourish off of the local culture.

From Farm to Fork
Epiphany Farms
Every item on the menu at Epiphany Farms is naturally raised from Chef Ken Myszka’s 20-acre working farm or sourced from local farmers. Epiphany Farms observes the Farm to Fork concept, which practices sustainable, beyond organic, environmentally friendly techniques. During it’s growing season, Epiphany Farms educates tour groups about ethical farming practices and inspires visitor about the future of farming, food and family.

Sweet to the Last Drop
Funks Grove Pure Maple Sirup
Tapping maple sirup has become a family dynasty at Funks Grove Pure Maple Sirup. Since 1824 the Funk family has been using their multigenerational practice to create their deliciously sweet sirup. During the golden era of Route 66, Funks Grove depended on the steady flow of travelers that visited their store. It still remains a popular attraction for Route 66 travelers today. Guided tours of the grounds are offered during the sirup-making season, which is typically the end of February through the middle of March.

BN Brews
Destihl Brewery
Destihl Brewery combines centuries-old global brewing traditions and new American craft brewing techniques to produce a wide array of beers for every palate. There are two options for brewery tours: a guided tour with beer tastings, or a comprehensive tour of brewery operations that is followed by a sampling of beers and culinary creations.

Going Nutty
Beer Nuts
In 1937, Edward Shirk founded Beer Nuts, which produces different types of nuts covered with a sweet and salty glaze. Bloomington is still the only city in the world to make this product, and they now ship to all 50 states even some foreign countries.

More Cheese, Please
Ropp Jersey Cheese
What started out as a self-sustaining family farm has grown into a seventh generation dynasty. Ropp Jersey Cheese Farm produces cheese curds as well as artisan cheddars, colbys and many others. It also sells meat products, including pork, beef and poultry.
