The Top 6 Holiday Activities in Bloomington-Normal
Friday, December 2 | Downtown Bloomington | 5-8pm.
Once Upon a Holiday will kick off the holiday season in Downtown Bloomington. There’ll be music and refreshments, but the main attraction will be the live window vignettes. The McLean County Museum of History will host a celebrity reading of “’Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Check out the Cruisin’ with Lincoln on 66 Visitors Center for a unique Christmas gift for your loved ones.

Stop in and see Santa this holiday season at his winter home in Uptown Normal! Santa’s Station is in the heart of Uptown between Uptown Station and the Children’s Discovery Museum. Santa has his own cozy little station where good girls and boys can pay him a visit right up until Christmas Eve, when he departs to take care of some important business!

The Twin Cities School of Dance has been performing Tchaikovsky’s ballet every December since 1981. The Nutcracker tells the story of Clara, whose gift of a nutcracker comes to life on Christmas Eve. Tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com or at the Braden Box Office.
Christmas at the Mansions Tour
Saturday, December 10 | 2-5 pm and 5-8 pm
The David Davis Mansion, Ewing Manor and a mystery mansion will be decorated in all of their Christmas splendor. Take in the architecture, history, postcard scenes of decorated evergreen trees and Christmas wreaths, poinsettia plants, and hosts dressed in period costumes as you walk back in time to the late 1800s and early 1900s. Music and other surprises will complement your tour!

Come out with family and friends to travel around town and see the sights and lights the Holiday brings us with the Bloomington Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts Department. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
