Manneken Press is an independent fine art press that publishes and exhibits original, limited edition and unique prints, portfolios and artist’s books, founded in 2000. Owners Jonathan Higgins and Sarah Smelser invite select artists from around the world each year to our Bloomington, Illinois studios to create original works of art in intaglio, relief, lithography and monotype. The prints, made by the artists working closely with master printer Jonathan Higgins, are hand-printed on our Takach etching press using the finest inks and papers available.
We exhibit prints from Manneken Press at several fine art fairs each year, and we welcome visitors by appointment to view prints in our showroom and tour the studio, which is located on the 2nd floor of an old Art Deco Coca Cola bottling plant.
