Empire Township Historical Museum

Located in the lower level of the J.T. and E.J. Crumbaugh Library, the newly revamped Empire Township Historical Museum offers rotating exhibits that explore the history of Empire Township and McLean County, along with seasonal activities for youth. In addition, the museum features beautiful clear glass beveled windows restored by local artisans and a framed original New York Herald front page announcing the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. The museum is open from 12:00-3:00 pm on Saturday afternoons and by appointment for groups.
