Women to Women Spring Forum

COVID-19 has impacted women and children in unique ways. What are the most important issues and how can we most effectively help?

Join us in conversation with Dr. Danita Brown Young, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Illinois at Urbana‐Champaign, moderated by W2W Steering Committee member Dr. Doris M. Houston, Interim Assistant to the President for Diversity and Inclusion at Illinois State University. They will discuss such topics from recent news reports as:
– “Young children are missing out on the important socialization of early learning”
– “Children are increasingly unreachable via Zoom, and some who sign in are in tears”
– “Female exodus from the workforce brought about by the pandemic has turned the clock back to 1988”

Please register for the Spring Forum so that we have enough Zoom meeting space. Register by emailing Michele Evans at mevans@ilprairiecf.org. Zoom meeting information will be emailed to registered participants a few days before the event.
