Twin Cities Ballet presents Sleeping Beauty


Screen Shot 2015-04-08 at 9.38.42 AM (4)Twin Cities Ballet has been a Bloomington-Normal institution for more than 30 years, mounting productions that feature a combination of professional dancers, company girls training to become professionals, and an amateur cast who made it through auditions. Artistic director Eka Bezirgani, a former prima ballerina with the Tbilsi Opera and Ballet, will dance the role of Aurora. Twin Cities Ballet alum Gregory Paul Brown, who has danced with The Metropolitan Opera and Philadelphia’s Ballet X, returns as The Prince. With a Tchaikovsky score and extravagant costumes, The Sleeping Beauty Ballet is a colorfully costumed family-friendly production.
