Soundboard Concert Series: The Neals

Join us on the lawn for a free show Saturday, September 3rd featuring The Neals! Patio & lawn seating will be available on a first-come basis. Bring your lawn chairs or picnic blanket and enjoy the show!

The Neals are a husband-wife duo who have been making music together for over 20 years. They are both central Illinois natives who grew up surrounded by music and cornfields. Over the years, their two voices have become one with their tight two-part harmonies. Their style bridges genres like indie-folk, rock, and alt-country for an unexpected sound from an acoustic duo.

Tommy Neal is a singer-songwriter who has been writing since he was a teenager, and has performed all over the US and abroad. His original tunes reflect his Midwest roots.

Breann Neal fills in as the multi-instrumentalist of the group with background and lead vocals, keyboard, harmonica, mandolin and percussion.
Their live performances include a mix of original songs along with a selection of covers from artists like The Avett Brothers, Jamestown Revival, Jason Isbell, Ryan Adams, Nikki Lane, Tom Petty, and The Decemberists.
