Taylor Steele started singing when she was a young girl, joining her family on stage singing old time country music and 60’s/70’s bar band blues. Since her grandpa taught her to play guitar at age 7, she has spent a lot of time developing her self taught acoustic finger picking style. Her writing abilities started blossoming at age 11. Writing came naturally to her from having been exposed to the way a song would flow or the phrasing of an old country song since she could remember. Her songs are smart and original, with roots that take you through old time roots, folk, to the blues of the old south. She has immense control of her voice as she belts out notes and improvises, all while finding a beautiful balance and sincerity. Most of all, there is a natural and authentic display of feeling radiating off of her performance that is captivating to say the least, while her songs are a poetic representation of her true self.
