In this series of box framed paintings, Garret McFann depicts figures—sometimes historical, sometimes humorous—with a drawing-like technique involving dry brushing and cross-hatching. McFann earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles, CA in 1984.
