Join us to listen to the poetry of Joanne Diaz and Duriel E. Harris.

Joanne Diaz is a professor at Illinois Wesleyan University and the author of My Favorite Tyrants and The Lessons. Additionally, Diaz works with Ian Morris as the co-editor of The Little Magazine in Contemporary America.

Duriel E. Harris is a poet, performer, sound artist, and the author of No Dictionary of a Living Tongue, Drag, and Amnesiac. She is also co-author of the poetry video Speleology. Her current undertakings include “Blood Labyrinth” and a solo performance project entitled “Thingification.” Additionally, Harris is an associate professor of English in the graduate creative writing program at Illinois State University and the editor of Obsidian: Literature & Arts in the African Diaspora.
