Penguin Project McLean presents: James & the Giant Peach, Jr.

James & the Giant Peach. Jr. is a musical adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl adventure. When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece of fruit across the ocean, facing hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements along the way. Come join us for this musical about courage and self-discovery. Great songs including “Right Before Your Eyes”, “Plump and Juicy”, “There’s Money on That Tree” and more.

This show is presented by the Penguin Project McLean County who are a group of artists with disabilities who present the show along with the help of their peer mentors. James & the Giant Peach, Jr. is their 9th production.
