Penguin Project of McLean County Presents Bye-Bye Birdie-Young Performers Version

On June 5th, 6th and 7th, 80 children and youth will take the stage at Stroud Auditorium to perform the Young Performer’s Version of Bye Bye Birdie under the direction of Tiffany Anderson. But this is no typical children’s theater program; this is The Penguin Project of McLean County! The Penguin Project is a unique theater program that features children with disabilities as leading stars of the show. They are supported in their role by a peer mentor who rehearses with them each rehearsal. We hope you will come see the kids in action! Tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for children/students. Tickets are available at Bloomington Parks and Recreation, it’s open seating, and doors open at 6:30.
