Means Center Startup Showcase

Startup Showcase is a student business startup competition sponsored by the George R & Martha Means Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. Any Illinois State
University student, undergraduate or graduate, may enter the competition.

Top prize will be $5,000 in financial support for the startup company. Members of the community are invited as well to network with the student teams and vote
for People’s Choice Award winners. Students attend to support your classmates and friends and vote for People’s Choice Award winners. There is no charge for attendance but registration is required. All registrations open on September 4 and applications close on September 30. Registration for attendance will stay open until October 28.

Networking starts at 9:00 am with competition starting at 10:00 am, concluding with the awarding of prizes at 1:15 pm

The event location is the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.
