Lunch and Learn – The Future of U.S.Manned Spaceflight presented by Bob Aaron, Retired Journalist/ Public Relations Specialist
This presentation describes three new manned spacecraft underdevelopment by the United States. Two of them—SpaceX’s Dragon V-2 and Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner (Commercial Space Transportation)—will ferry crews of up to seven astronauts between the Earth and the International Space Station. The third spacecraft—Lockheed Martin’s Orion—is the command module that will take U.S. astronauts to Mars and bring them home, along with other support vehicles and rockets that are under development, by around 2030.
Bring your brown bag lunch to the Museum’s series, featuring engaging and enlightening topics for discussion.
