Kid’s Compost Class

It’s never to early to teach kids about composting!

Join Amanda Fike with Tiny Planters on the front lawn of DESTIHL Brewery for a kid’s compost class! Amanda will walk you and your child through building their own compost bin to take home and watch the magic happen. This class is best for ages 4-12 and must be accompanied by an adult.

Each child will receive a 32oz compost jar with a lid that they will get to decorate and build with their parent to take home. The class also includes a compost book, games & food waste demo. Come early or stay after to enjoy dinner and a complimentary beverage for both you & your child – 12oz beer of choice by DESTIHL for adults & canned soda or lemonade for the kids!

Tiny Planters will bring in blankets for guests to sit on, but adults are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for themselves.
