Hands All Around Quilt Guild Lecture

The Hands All Around Quilt Guild of Central Illinois will meet on Thursday, September 6th at 7 p.m. at the Mennonite Church of Normal, 805 S. Cottage Ave., Normal.

The speaker will be Jill Finley, the owner and designer behind Jillily Studio (jillilystudio.com). Her lecture will be a trunk show. Jill Finley has been designing quilt patterns for over 15 years and currently designs and sells quilt fabric, patterns, kits and notions. She is also the author of several books on quilting including Home Sweet Quilt and Stitched Together. Her quilt designs show off her fresh style using high contrast fabrics and usually have a bit of applique to soften and finish each design.

Two workshops will be offered. Friday’s workshop is “Pedal Pusher” and Saturday’s is “Cabin Fever”. Please visit HAAQG.com “Programs and Workshops” for more information.

Membership for the 2018-2019 Guild year is $30 for General members and $25 for Seniors (65 or better) and Juniors (18 or under). There is a $10 guest fee for the lecture for non-members. Membership forms are available at the door and on the website at HAAQG.com “Join Us”.
