Franklin Park Concerts

Free concert at Franklin Park located at 302 E Chestnut St., Bloomington

Join conductor Michael Wallace and the Community Concert Band as they perform a wide variety of music including marches,
overtures, show tunes, dance music, novelty and traditional selections. Come early and enjoy the ice cream socials in the historic surroundings of Franklin Park.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.

Local not-for-profit groups host each Ice Cream Social fundraiser prior to each concert.

Community Concert Band

Musicians (high school age and older) interested in becoming a member of the Community Concert Band are invited to join in
rehearsals with Conductor Michael Wallace and band members. Summer rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from
6:30 – 8:30 pm, June 11 – July 23, at Pepper Ridge Elementary School. Performances are scheduled throughout the year.
