Eaton Studio Gallery presents “Thickets…that which surrounds our struggles”


A downtown Bloomington gallery will open a new art exhibit to the public on Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday, March 1, 4-8pm. Drawings and inks by Herb Eaton from the series: He & She in the Thickets, Self-Made Angels, River Picnics, Wriggles & Smudges. Exhibit reception First Friday March 4, 4-8pm.

The exhibit “Thickets…that which surrounds our struggles” features contemporary narrative works depicting the artist’s HE & SHE characters in the thickets of life in search of a necessary picnic.

Eaton Gallery is located at 411 N. Center St. in downtown Bloomington. The gallery shows and sells paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, and cards. Gallery hours are Saturday 10-2, First Fridays 5-8pm, by appointment or ring bell 309-828-1575. www.eatonstudiogallery.com
