Children’s Concert
This event is hosted by the Illinois Chamber Music Festival in Bloomington, IL. At this educational concert tailored specifically for a young audience, children will enjoy creating their own percussion instruments and helping make music with the performers on stage! Also includes instrument demos and an opportunity for audience members to try out different instruments following the concert. Craft-making starts at 2:30 pm with the help of Illinois Chamber Music Festival counselors and staff. Concert begins at 3 pm and will take about 45 – 50 minutes. Following the concert there will be a time for audience members to try out the instruments they heard during the concert. Cost is free! Children of all ages welcome.
