Chefs for PATH

“Chefs for PATH” is a culinary challenge held annually to raise financial support for PATH, Inc. Guests participate in five tasting rounds as executive chefs from local restaurants compete for their votes.

People are divided into six groups to taste the small Tapas style portions prepared by the competing chefs. After the tasting rounds, participants are asked to vote for their favorite. The two chefs with the most votes move on to the Live Cooking Finale. These chefs are provided with “mystery” ingredients not identified to the chefs prior to this final competition.

During the event, participants have an opportunity to bid on silent auction items. After the food tasting and before the Live Cooking Finale, our live auction takes place. Items for the auctions are donated by local businesses as well as from businesses outside our local area such as Second City and Shedd Aquarium in Chicago.
