Event
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
Described by Roger Ebert as “the first true horror film,” this German classic is often described as a premonition to the rise of Adolf Hitler. Considered to be the quintessential example of German Expressionist Cinema, the film tells of an insane hypnotist who uses a sleepwalker to commit murders for him. This silent film is underscored by renowned theatre pipe organist Dennis Scott.
