Books to Benefit Used Book Preview Sale – June 14


Books to Benefit Semiannual UNPICKED Used Book Preview Sale, featuring over 25,000 unpicked books. $5 admission fee per person applies at the preview sale. Most paperbacks are $.50. Most hardbacks are $2. Special Collections features specially priced items.

  • Preview Sale: Thursday, June 14 from 5 to 8 pm: $5 admission fee applies at the preview sale.
  • Regular Sale: Friday, June 15 from 10 am to 7 pm
  • Regular Sale: Saturday, June 16 from 10 am to 4 pm
  • Book Lover’s $5 Bag Sale: Sunday, June 17 from noon to 4 pm: $5 per bag. Books to Benefit supplies the bag.
  • Writer’s Event and Book Lover’s $5 Bag Sale: Saturday, June 23 from 1 to 3 pm: $5 per bag. Books to Benefit supplies the bag. Working on your first novel? Local published authors will answer questions and share their experiences in getting published. Free to the public. The bag sale does not include items in Special Collections.

Book sale proceeds benefit STAR Adult Literacy and YouthBuild McLean County’s literacy programs. Bake sale funds the Heartland Community College Books to Benefit Community Service Scholarship award.

Credit cards accepted. (There is a $1 convenience fee for each credit card transaction.) No price adjustments from previous sales. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Books to Benefit reserves the right to inspect purchases.
