Join the Bloomington-Normal Black History Project (BNBHP) and the Museum for a special program to reboot the Black History Project’s oral history and collections efforts, Saturday, March 03, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The program will feature a public reminiscence panel discussion between long-time Bloomington-Normal residents and area youth. There will also be a local history performance by youth in the community and a dance performance by Breaking Chains and Advancing Increase. (BCAI) This program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
The McLean County Museum of History is the repository for the Bloomington-Normal Black History Project, collecting stories and preserving them for future generations.
