Children & Adult Dance Class workshops
All money raised will go towards purchasing school supplies for Unit 5 & Dist. 87 children

Where Hansen Student Center on the Campus of Illinois
Wesleyan University
Time: Classes offered all day! See Below!
Cost: $5 at the door or $5 worth of School Supplies (See Below)

9am to 11am = Hip Hop Workshop by Regina Powers from Next Step Dance Studio.
We are going to cover techniques top rock, 6 step, Kickball changes, Zumba Style and finish with a Small Combo

Adult Class Schedule with Guest Instructor Brittni Thorne from Ballroom City in Chicago, IL
Noon to 1pm—Intro to Waltz (Great for recently engaged couples, parents of the bride & groom, or anyone attending a wedding or Formal event)

1:30pm to 3pm—Intro to Ballroom & Latin (Foxtrot, Night Club Two-step, Salsa & Rumba)
For Beginners to learn about dance and have fun social dancing.

3:30pm to 5pm – Advanced patterns and movement in Ballroom & Latin ( Salsa, Bachata, Waltz & Fox Trot )
For Advance dancers that are looking to gain additional knowledge on some of the current moves in the social scene

Lesson/ Social Dance
7pm to 7:45pm – East Coast Swing Lesson (Music from the big band era)
7:45pm to 10pm Back to School Sock Hop Dance.
Come dress up in your Poodle Skirts and Letterman Jackets as we swing to the oldies from the 50’s , Big Band era to today’s Swing Bands.
