Artist Trading Card Debut-Images of Corn Exhibit

Artist Trading Cards will be exhibited and sold downtown by over 40 artists in 10 studios and galleries.(ATC) are miniature pieces of art (2.5” x 3.5”) that when sold are referred to as art card editions and originals (ACEOs).In 1997 the Artist Trading Cards became a movement when M. Vanci Stirnemann, a Swiss artist, created 1200 cards by hand as part of an exhibit and encouraged other artists to create their own cards.ATCs are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, paper cuts, found objects, etc.) or even metals or fiber.
