Art Show: The Incurable Romantic by Michele Peterson

The Incurable Romantic features mixed-media works on canvas, created with oil paint, metallic leaf, graphite and pastel.

Artist Michele Peterson combines drawn and painted elements, expressive and formal qualities, while employing still life, landscape and figurative subjects.

In describing her art work, she states “I believe in art and beauty and its power for good. Both are necessary to live a fully present life and make the world a better place.”

On Display

Peterson’s work is on display at the Joe McCauley Gallery from Monday, June 19 through Friday, September 29.

An artist reception takes place Tuesday, August 29 from 4:00-5:30 in the gallery.
