8th Annual Brad’s Ride to Freedom

Excitement is building for the 8th Annual Brad’s Ride to Freedom, Poker Run for Suicide Prevention & Awareness.

The event is to take place Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at the VFW Post 454 in Bloomington, IL.  Following the ride will be dinner, Silent auction and live music from KnuckHead. Registration for the Poker Run starts at 11 a.m. ending at Noon, with bikes departing shortly after. The ride will go till 5 p.m.

The cost per rider is $10.00, there will also be a party bus following the riders for $10.00 per person, or $10.00 at the door if not riding. You can pre-order t-shirts and pick them up the day of the ride. There will be minimum t-shirts available that day if not pre-ordered.

This event raised $3,000 in its first year with raising $15,500 last year. In the United States alone a person dies of suicide every 15 minutes.  It is vital that organizations such as these have funding to assist children, teens and adults in crisis. All of the proceeds from the event go directly to the Crisis Team at McLean County Center for Human Services. This is the only fundraiser for this organization.
