Local artists Herb Eaton, Kay Seefeld, and Angel Ambrose began the Art Walk in 2000 “to increase the visibility of our studio spaces, feature our artwork in our working environment, increase interest in fine art, educate attendees about the value of fine art, and offer impressive fine art for sale,” says Ambrose.

Over the years, the Annual Art Walk has grown, as has the downtown Bloomington art scene.

Within this eight-block stretch of the historic downtown, there are over 100 local artists with work on display, 20 art spaces, and more than 35 public art installations. From paintings and ceramics to glass pieces and bronze sculptures, there’s something for everyone to discover in the local Art Scene.
